Cape Coral High School's head football coach, Isaac Harvin, has been removed from his position pending an investigation by the Lee County School District.
According to the School District of Lee County, Harvin was removed on May 31, the last day of the school year.
The district has not commented on the nature of this investigation.
Harvin has been replaced by assistant coach Jaylen Watkins in the meantime, the school district said.
Watkins, a Cape Coral High School alum, was a defensive back at the University of Florida before being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. He also won the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018.
