A church van crashed into a Fort Myers home along Braman Avenue Tuesday morning.
According to the Fort Myers Police Department, a family was inside the home at the time of the crash.
The family's attorney said three children were taken to the hospital.
The van was marked as belonging to the First Haitian Baptist Church and Christian Academy in Fort Myers.
Investigators initially said the van might've had a vehicle malfunction, however, FMPD clarified the 78-year-old driver had a medical episode.
According to FMPD, the driver was the only one in the van. He decided to go to a hospital but was up and walking after the crash.
