In addition to Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean, we're also tracking another disturbance south of the Dominican Republic.
Chances for development have decreased to 0 percent over the next two days and 10 percent over the next seven. This disturbance is moving quickly off to the west at 20 to 25 mph and regardless of development, will still bring heavy rain to the Lesser Antilles.
This system will struggle in the coming days as it also runs into the strong shear in the Caribbean which has also been taking a toll on Berly. If the disturbance were to develop, it would not likely occur until it moves toward the Yucatan Peninsula and into the Bay of Campeche.
The system does not pose a threat to the U.S. at this time and is expected to remain well south of Florida. Showers and storms remain disorganized, and any development would be gradual.
