First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was in Tampa on Monday to make it clear that her husband is in it to win it.
The First Lady said President Joe Biden won't be stepping aside as some members of the Democratic Party have called for him to do.
"For all the talk out there about this race, Joe has made it clear that he is all in," Dr. Jill Biden said. "That's a decision he has made. Just as he has supported my career, I'm all in too."
NBC2 Chief Political Correspondent Dave Elias said the Democratic crowd sent its own message of support at times by chanting “four more years,” some saying they would not be abandoning the president.
"I think he's the only one who is going to be deciding if he's going to drop out," Tom Garner, Charlotte County Democratic State Committeeman, said. "We're, as my wife said, solidly behind President Biden."
Dr. Jill Biden also visited two other key battleground states today, North Carolina and Georgia.
