First Lady Jill Biden is making a pit stop in Tampa on Monday as she is set to speak at a campaign event with the presidential election inching closer.
Though few details about the first lady's stop have been shared, we do know she is expected to speak at 3 p.m.
The first lady is set to announce the formation of Veterans and Military Families for Biden-Harris during her three stops on Monday, according to the Associated Press.
She will make a stop in Wilmington, North Carolina; Tampa; and Columbus, Georgia. The states have a very large population of veterans and military families.
Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said the new group will work to engage and mobilize millions of veterans and military families in the U.S. to vote to reelect the president, according to the Associated Press.
According to reports, her trip is also part of President Joe Biden's campaign efforts to bounce back after a subpar debate against former President Donald Trump in June.
A handful of House Democrats and others called on Biden to end his campaign because they no longer believe he is mentally or physically capable of winning the election.
In a public statement, Biden made it clear that he is staying in the race.
