Officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission stopped a group of poachers after being led on a chase through the waterways.
FWC says while they were patrolling, officers encountered a boat that quickly dropped its dive flag and sped away.
Officers reportedly pursued the boat and made the stop before uncovering evidence of illegal poaching when they reviewed GPS tracks.
Hidden in the water was a stash of undersized hogfish and out-of-season wrung lobster tails, according to reports.
FWC says they issued arrest warrants for two individuals aboard the boat, including one with prior citations for similar offenses.
