A call about a man walking his dog on a Naples beach led to his arrest in connection to a Miami-Dade County fraud investigation.
John Castro, 75, was walking his dog on the beach in the area of Lowdermilk Park during the morning hours of July 6.
According to the Naples Police Department , officers learned Castro had an active felony warrant during their investigation.
Castro was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center and will be extradited to Miami.
NPD said Collier County Domestic Animal Services took custody of Castro's dog.
