A deadly incident involving a car in the median on Chiquita Boulevard South at SW 19th Terrace in Cape Coral shut down multiple lanes in the area for hours.
After the crash, the Cape Coral Police Department shut down Chiquita in both directions after the incident and advised drivers to avoid the area.
As of Thursday evening, CCPD said all roadways have since reopened.
