Crime Stoppers is searching for a man accused of breaking into a truck that was left at a job site and stealing a GPS worth more than $18,000.
According to reports, that same GPS was found on sale on Facebook Marketplace for just $3,500.
Detectives say they were able to trace that posting back to John Southwick, 41, who claimed he found the GPS sitting on the side of the road.
Southwick reportedly told police it never crossed his mind to report it.
Southwick was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property, as well as other drug charges, according to reports.
After paying his bond, Southwick was released from jail but reportedly failed to appear in court.
Reports say Southwick has been booked 19 times before on 44 criminal charges of battery, obstruction, grand theft, burglary, drugs, fraud and three counts of DUI.
Southwick is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and was last known to be in the Fort Myers Beach and Cape Coral areas.
