A man was arrested Thursday near Naples Beach after police say he was found asleep in a stolen vehicle out of Washington.
According to the Naples Police Department, officers noticed a vehicle illegally parked at the end of 14th Avenue S. Police discovered the vehicle was reported stolen out of Seattle, Washington.
Officers approached the vehicle and found Yohannes Haile, 38, fast asleep inside. He was awakened and detained, NPD said.
Haile faces a charge of grand theft auto. He was taken to the Naples Jail.
