The Florida Department of Transportation says a semitrailer crashed on I-75 southbound Tuesday morning, causing major traffic backups in Collier County.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 3:40 a.m. at mile marker 90.
The semitrailer was hauling rooftop shingles that spilled onto the highway after the crash.
The highway has been moved down to a single lane while crews work to clear the scene.
Drivers should expect traffic delays.
Troopers are investigating what caused the crash.
