When Frank Maglio plays the guitar, he is a one-man act. But while he may not perform with any other people, Maglio does not play alone.
As Maglio plays classic hits, his pet parrot, Tico, joins him on vocals.
Together, the duo makes up Tico and the Man, a pairing that has gone viral across social media.
"I know key, I know pitch, [and] I know timing," Maglio said. "And this bird knows all of it."
Maglio discovered Tico at a moving sale in Englewood nearly 25 years ago. His original owner was moving overseas and needed to find her bird a new home.
"I felt sorry for Tico because his next step would have been a shelter," Maglio said.
Maglio discovered that Tico could sing several years ago. The two have been jamming together ever since.
Millions of people now follow the duo's performances online from around the world.
Maglio believes the best part of Tico's talent is simple: "You're making people happy," he said.
