The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is searching for two men accused of stealing over $700K from over 600 churches, including in Lee and Collier counties.
Marius "Viorel" Dumitru, 37, Marius Dumitru, 30, were arrested by the FDLE in 2021 in Operation Thou Shall Not Steal, according to reports.
They were released by the court after their arrest and reportedly ran away before trial.
Reports say Viorel and Marius are charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, grand theft, unlawful possession of personal identification and money laundering.
The two men reportedly stole more than $761,000 from more than 68- churches across the United States.
FDLE says co-conspirators include Catalin Trandafir, 48, Simona Trandafir, 43, Panait Dumitru, 35, and Ionut Raducan, 36, who were recently convicted.
Before running away, Viorel and Marius were last known to be in the Orlando area.
