The Lee County Sheriff's Office reported the intersection of Daniels Parkway and Metro Pkwy in south Fort Myers was closed due to a "suspicious item" Friday morning.
Deputies say the roads were shut down out of an abundance of caution.
As of 9:45 a.m., the scene is clear and all roadways are open.
