The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a "suspicious item" at the intersection of Daniels Parkway and Metro Pkwy in south Fort Myers.
Deputies say the roads are currently shut down due to an abundance of caution.
Motorists are asked to seek an alternate route.
