A convicted felon was sentenced to life in prison after the Collier County Sheriff's Office arrested him for molesting a child.
Matthew Zink, 49, was arrested by CCSO on June 9, 2021, after the victim reported the sexual abuse.
“This was a fantastic and collaborative effort between our Special Response Bureau, our Forensic Services Bureau, and the State Attorney’s Office to ensure a predator can never harm another child again,” Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said.
A Collier County jury found Zink guilty of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under 12.
On Monday, a judge sentenced Zink to life in prison.
