There are just over 100 days until our next presidential election, and this always historic event has taken on even greater significance after recent events.

Many buyers and sellers are becoming more cautious and are choosing to adopt a wait-and-see approach. In Southwest Florida, we are seeing a record-high inventory. On Realtor.com, there are 4,300 listings for Fort Myers and more than 21,000 for Lee County. 6,400 homes listed in Naples with nearly 8,000 total in Collier County. These numbers come as interest rates remain high.
But remember, people will also need a place to call home. November isn’t that far away, and the market could swing more toward the seller’s favor once the election happens.
