A Charlotte County man is behind bars at the Charlotte County Jail accused of touching himself July 19 at a stranger's home in Port Charlotte.
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said it happened at a home off Midway Boulevard. Surveillance video shows a man pacing the driveway of the home, entering the house's front porch at midnight and touching himself.
Then, the man returns close to 5 a.m., exposing himself again.
Maria Kivi lives at that home. She normally checks her Ring doorbell cameras in the morning and was shocked to see the man exposing himself in her driveway.
"It was just so disturbing. It was just. You don't want to see that, you know?" Kivi said.
CCSO says the man is 45-year-old Jason Roy. He lives just houses away from Kivi.
"Just shock. Just scared. Just, a lot of, like, fear, you know? You don't know. He could have came in and, you know, who knows?" Kivi said.
"Lock your doors, lock everything up and have cameras, in the front. In the back and just everywhere. Just to make sure. You never know what can happen," Kivi said.
Charlotte County Deputies confronted Roy, who denied it all. He is facing exposure of sexual organs charges.
