A person is dead after she reportedly drowned on Englewood Beach Saturday morning.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, at around 11:22 a.m., Charlotte County Fire and EMS, Englewood Fire and deputies responded to a drowning call at 2100 N. Beach Road.
Crews provided life-saving measures on the victim for an undetermined medical condition that caused them to take in water and go under, CCSO said.
People at the beach called 911 and helped the victim get to shore. EMS took the victim to Englewood Hospital where she later died from her medical condition.
