The Lee County Sheriff's Office said two dead dogs were pulled from a canal in Lehigh Acres on Sunday.
Deputies, firefighters, emergency medical services and domestic animal services were investigating the scene near Sunshine Boulevard North and 16th Street West.
LCSO said there doesn't appear to be any signs of animal abuse at this time.
There are no further details.
