A man accused of shooting and killing a young father over a bag of weed near Three Oaks Park pleaded not guilty.
Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said Kylil Draine, 25, shot the victim in the head, chest, heart area and lungs in his parked car.
LCSO says they used technology to track down Draine. LCSO shared that he used a 9mm handgun in the murder.
According to documents, Draine has one previous charge of felony battery.
Draine was charged with second-degree murder, robbery with a firearm, shooting into a vehicle and probation violation. He pleaded not guilty last week.
Draine was scheduled to appear in court Monday at 8:30 a.m. but was taken off the docket shortly before it was set to begin.
