On Monday, the Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested a trio for breaking into a home in Lehigh Acres.
Deputies responded to the home on the 600 block of Columbus Boulevard after the alarm system was triggered.
They found Yanet Valdes, Osmel Ortiz and Alberto Quinones-Perez in the back of the home, with a box full of stuff.
According to their arrest reports, the box had pillows, a shower curtain, rugs, and water bottles inside.
The sheriff's office believes the trio broke into the home through the back door, using a metal pipe. Deputies later found the pipe inside a car parked near the house.
The homeowners say they were on the East Coast of Florida when they received a notification from ADT about the possible break-in.
They tell NBC2, they traveled back to Lehigh Acres on Tuesday to prosecute.
