The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says Jan Harr has been arrested after he pulled out a gun with a laser and pointed it at a woman on I-75 Thursday night.
Joshuanna Silva described the terrifying moments the laser aimed right at her forehead.
“My heart just dropped, and I started just getting very clammy and scared. I remember actually screaming just from how scared I was. I'm surprised I didn't accidentally go forward and hit the car in front of me. I just saw kind of my life flashed before my eyes,” Silva said.
Silva said she was about to merge onto I-75 from the Bonita Beach Road exit, when Harr was behind her and started honking, pulled up next to her and gave her the finger.
“I saw him turn back, and it looked like he had reached for something. And that's when he pointed the gun at me, and he had the red laser beam, like, going all around my forehead and my eyes for a while. And then I started freaking out. I thought he was going to shoot me. I thought I was going to die at that time,” Silva said.
Harr has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
