The Desoto County Sheriff's Office says one person has been arrested after a stabbing that killed one in Arcadia.
According to reports, deputies responded to a stabbing on Friday and immediately began investigations with the help of the Arcadia Police Department.
Officers were able to locate Yon Gonzalez-Castaneda, 27, who they say was the suspect.
Gonzalez-Castaneda was reportedly arrested and taken to the DeSoto County Jail.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sheriff Jim Potter says this was an isolated incident between the individuals involved. There is no threat to the public.
