If you were out on Fort Myers Beach on Sunday, or tuning into NBC2, you saw just how strong the winds were and the water that covered the roads.
It is a different scene on Monday, but it is still windy on Fort Myers Beach and other areas of Southwest Florida.
NBC2 crews are at Fort Myers Beach, where they say sand is still washed up onto Time Square.
Our crews say at one point they didn't know if they would make it out of the island, luckily that was not the case.
Lee County deputies were on the island as well, patrolling the area, ready to assist anyone in need.
Crews came out after the flooding to begin removing the mess caused by Debby, but as of Monday, sand still sits on Time Square.
We know there will be more cleanup efforts continuing on Monday morning as volunteers from Florida Gulf Coast University will be helping local businesses on Fort Myers Beach starting around 9:30 a.m.
