Sebastian Lieske was boating with his friend and dad during Tropical Storm Debby Sunday night when his dad fell in the water.
“Whenever the wind picked up is when the surprise happened, it came in like 3-4 foot waves, just big rollers,” Lieske said.
Thankfully, everyone is OK, and Sebastian’s dad was able to get back on the boat.
Lieske said there was a reason behind the boat ride during Tropical Storm Debby.
“We decided to take this John out, she did pretty well, we were doing a test run because it's a rescue boat,” Lieske said.
Remember, the safest thing to do during a storm is to stay on land.
