The Lee County Sheriff's Office says a man is dead after a tire explosion at A-Expert Tire & Service Shop in San Carlos Park.
Deputies responded to the scene at 8749 Alico Road around 12:50 p.m. on Monday.
According to reports, the victim was a male employee who was inflating a tire when it exploded and struck him.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, per reports.
Deputies have not shared the identity of the victim at this time.
