A man was arrested after allegedly stealing an electric bike from a restaurant at Cambier Park in Naples.
On Saturday, Naples police say they arrested Irving Ramirez, 38, after he reportedly stole an electric bike after he finished his shift and was going home.
A short time after stealing the bike, police say they found Ramirez pushing the bike near the area of 5th Avenue South and Davis Boulevard.
Ramirez was reportedly arrested for petit theft, which police say was elevated to a felony due to four prior theft convictions on his record.
Police say a pair of cable cutters were found on Ramirez at the time of arrest.
According to reports, Ramirez — a resident of unincorporated Collier Couty and convicted felon — was recently released from jail after being arrested for stealing three electric bicycles in May 2024.
