Immokalee High School hosted Lipman Family Farms' 14th annual backpack giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon.
William Morales, a Collier County student, got something he's dreamed of having at the event.
"When I was younger, I want a bike like this," Morales said. "Now, I had the opportunity to have it."
His friend, Leonardo Perez, got a bike, too. He said he's very excited to use it during the upcoming school year.
"If you need to go to school, you can use it," Perez said. "You can use it to work. This year, I will come to the high school. I will try my best to be the best student."
Morales and Perez aren't the only lucky kids. Lipman Family Farms gave out 350 bikes. They also gave out 1,800 backpacks, 200 pairs of shoes, 400 $50 Walmart gift cards and school supplies. Plus, free haircuts.
Leslie Ricciardelli, Collier County Schools superintendent, said the event is important to students' success.
"It means that every one of these students will start their day with everything they need," Ricciardelli said. "A backpack full of school supplies, new haircut, new shoes, uniforms. What a great way to start the year."
Jamie Ulmer, Healthcare Network CEO, said making sure kids are healthy before school starts is a priority.
"We're excited to be here," Ulmer said. "We're doing dental screenings, we're doing HIV testing, and we're giving out free socks for all the kids as they get ready to go back to school."
Lipman Family Farms has provided 18,000 backpacks since its start.
