The Fort Myers Police Department arrested a man after he allegedly crashed into a pole while under the influence in Fort Myers.
Anthony Clemens, 38, is accused of crashing into a pole at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Stella Street.
Officers say they saw Clemens' truck at the concrete pole before they arrested him while he was sitting in the vehicle.
Police say Clemens was showing signs of impairment, and they conducted a DUI investigation.
Documents say Clemens is facing charges of DUI with damage to property and hit-and-run after leaving the scene of a crash.
