Saving the day one bird at a time, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, CROW, found an injured Snowy Egret.
The bird was found with its feet wrapped in a fishing line hanging from a tree.
The bird was also dehydrated, thin and had a dislocated toe, CROW said. Unfortunately, the toe did need to be amputated due to the severity of the wound.
The bird has been in care for 25 days and is currently being assessed for release as long as it passes a flight test and shows normal behaviors.
