A Lee County man has been convicted of four counts of molestation, two counts of sexual battery and one count each of lewd conduct and battery.
A Lee County jury returned the guilty verdict for Enrique Morales Ordonez on Friday following a three-day trial.
The case began in July 2023 when the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Lee County about the sexual battery of a child.
Relatives of Ordonez told deputies that when he had been drinking, he bragged about having sexually abused the victim.
An adult spoke to the child and they admitted they had been victimized by Ordonez. The investigation led to the arrest of Ordonez.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 14.
