Crews are beginning work to repave a handful of busy streets in Southwest Florida's largest city on Monday.
Some of Cape Coral's busiest roads, including Cape Coral Parkway, are expected to see 24-hour lane closures.
In terms of what lanes will be affected, that's going to be changing daily to keep up with ongoing work.
Once crews start the preliminary work on Monday, then comes the milling and resurfacing phase, which will begin next Wednesday, Aug. 28.

- El Dorado Parkway W from SW 28th Place to Chiquita Boulevard
- Sands Boulevard from El Dorado Parkway W to Beach Parkway
- Agualinda Boulevard from El Dorado Parkway to Beach Parkway
- Cape Coral Parkway from Santa Barbara Boulevard to the cul-de-sac at the western end, west of Sand Boulevard
The city of Cape Coral hasn't said when the work will be completed, but we know it will be taking place both day and night.
That means we will see single-lane closures and even full-direction closures in certain areas.
