A man was reunited with his family after being rescued from the Caloosahatchee River Thursday evening.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office says a MERT activation was received in reference to an adult male falling overboard from a boat.
The incident happened in the Caloosahatchee River between the Cape Coral and Midpoint bridges.
LCSO Aviation, Cape Coral Police Department, Cape Coral Fire Department, Iona-McGregor Fire Department and 3rd Precinct Zone Units all responded to the area to assist in the search.
LCSO says the man was found and reunited with his family without incident.
