The Conservancy of Southwest Florida has announced that its Nature Center will be temporarily closed to the public for maintenance starting Tuesday, August 27.
The closure will continue through Monday, September 30, with plans to reopen on Tuesday, October 1.
This closure affects all exhibits and visitor services at the Nature Center. However, the Conservancy's wildlife hospital will remain operational during this period.
The wildlife hospital provides critical care and support to injured and sick wildlife and will continue its services without interruption. It is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
For any wildlife assistance or emergencies, the public is encouraged to call the wildlife hospital directly at (239) 262-2273.
The Conservancy of Southwest Florida appreciates the community’s understanding and support as it undertakes necessary maintenance to enhance its facilities. The organization looks forward to welcoming visitors back to the Nature Center on October 1.
