A new state-of-the-art racquet center is finally opening up in Cape Coral on Wednesday for you to play pickleball and tennis.
The Lake Kennedy Racquet Center on Santa Barbara Boulevard has 32 pickleball courts and 12 tennis courts.
The only catch is its not cheap to play there. So the big question is - how much will it cost to play there?

- Individual: $250
- Household couple: $350
- Household family: $500
- Junior: $100

- Household couple: $175
- Household family: $250

- Individual: $25
- Household couple: $35
- Household family: $50
The club will offer off discounts for veterans and first responders. There will also be a founders rate, so those who sign up during the first two months will get 50% off your annual membership for the first year.
NBC2 spoke with some people who have different thoughts on the new facility and pricing.
"Why? Why are we paying so much?" Pickleball players Dany and Marilyn Clayton questioned.
Some are looking at the benefits that come with it.
"And all of the opportunities for the new clinics that they're going to be offering between like the grown up clinics, the junior clinics, the pickleball clinic, I mean, they literally have something for anybody who wants to put a racket or a pickleball racket into their hands and come and do something," Lake Kennedy Racquet center members Elizabeth Baranowski and Jane Long said.
