Just days after receiving the death penalty, Wade Wilson is set to appear in court on Thursday.
Wilson was convicted of killing Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, on Oct. 7, 2019.
After five years of awaiting his fate, Wilson was sentenced to death on Tuesday.
Wilson has other pending charges before he heads to death row, including:
- Attempted trafficking in amphetamine or methamphetamine
- Conspiracy to traffic in amphetamine or methamphetamine
- Escape or attempt to escape as a prisoner
- Criminal mischief of $1,000 or more
In Florida, if someone is sentenced to death for a capital felony - any unrelated charges must be resolved before they are transferred to the state prison system.
After Wilson's other cases are closed, he will be transferred to the Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, Florida.
