NBC2 is learning a former Cape Coral High School coach resigned in early August due to inappropriate conversations with female students.
The Lee County School District released former coach Isaac Harvin's file Thursday. It shows several back-and-forth messages with one ninth-grade student in May. According to the school district, Harvin texted the student, "I need to ask you something but don't want to text it," "I think you feel some type of way also," and "I can't believe you can't read between the lines."
He is also accused of asking the girl to delete the messages and to change his contact name to "Tony."
The school district also said in the report Harvin told the student in a two-minute recorded phone call, "Can you keep a secret?" The student replied, "What's the secret? I can keep a secret." Harvin is accused of saying, "You are slow," and "What you mean? It's us." Later, he is accused of saying, "Just think about it."
According to the report, the student told school staff she was scared to tell anyone about the messages and felt weirded out by them.
Other students accused Harvin of telling one student she had a nice body, and that if she wasn't a student, he would make her his wife.
The school district said a student told school staff Harvin told her he had been digging into her since the beginning of the school year, and she felt Harvin wanted to have a different relationship outside of school.
The school district said law enforcement decided not to move forward with any criminal charges. Harvin resigned before being terminated by the district.
NBC2 reached out to Harvin in this case. He initially agreed to comment on the allegations, but later did not respond.
