A woman is facing charges after being accused of stealing items from a Cape Coral Target and pushing a team member out of her way.
Cape Coral officers say they responded to Target at 1890 Northeast Pine Island Road regarding a retail theft.
Officers spoke with Target's loss prevention staff, who told them that a female, Tabetha Crystal Doden, 37, grabbed three sets of leggings, a pink shirt and a gray sweatshirt from the women's clothing section.
Doden reportedly walked over to the shoe department next and took off her shoes before replacing them with a new pair.
Doden then walked out of the store with the items without paying for them.
According to reports, Doden pushed a loss prevention member out of her way before riding her bike away.
Detectives investigated using security footage. Once they positively identified Doden, they learned she had six prior theft convictions in Lee County.
Doden was already in custody at the Lee County jail on unrelated charges.
CCPD says Doden is facing one count of grand theft and one count of battery.
