The Naples Fire and Rescue Department says at least 2 people were injured after a Lightning Strike at the Naples Pier late Saturday afternoon. Firefighters say the strike happened with people in the water, and that one person was transported by ambulance, and another was taken in a personal vehicle.
The strike happened around 5pm, and the pier is closed for the remainder of the evening.
The condition of the victims of the strike is unknown.
