Lots of folks love to let loose at Arcadia's Neon Moon Saloon.
"It's very uplifting. The music, the movement, and laughing if I make a mistake," line dancer Marlys Guthier said.
There's one line dancer who is the talk of the town.
"She doesn't have boots on, but she has a darling outfit. I love her figure. I mean, it's the best," Guthier said.
That dancer is eight-year-old Susie, the Shih Tzu.
Her owner, Victor Gambino, said Susie doesn't dance too much, but she enjoys the company when he brings her to the saloon.
"She's a people watcher," Gambino said.
The dancers enjoy the company, too.
"A lot of the times, she'll run up and sniff at their legs or something. Like, 'Oh hey, you want to touch me?' Then they touch her, and she's like, 'Okay, thank you, I'm done,'" Gambino said.
Most dancers wonder if Susie has a dancer in her.
"I think she does. The way she trotted across and kept the little hat on. I think she does," Becky Hayes said.
Maybe Susie's not the star of the show, but there's one thing that those who boot scoot and boogie can agree on.
"She's cuter," Guthier said.
Susie sure does steal the limelight.
