Week 2 of the high school football season in Southwest Florida is in the books. There were plenty of impressive performances under the lights on Friday night. Here are the best plays! Be sure to vote for your favorite on the poll at the bottom.
Play 1: Golden Gate's Sam Powell & Wendel Stlouis Jr.
Golden Gate's Sam Powell airs out a beautiful pass to Wendel Stlouis Jr. who somehow hauls it in even with the defense draped all over him. Despite the score, the Tritons fell to Lely.
Play 2: North Fort Myers's Demetric McDonald & Antoine Phillips
North Fort Myers's Demetric McDonald tips the pass right into the hands of his teammate Antoine Phillips who picks it off and returns it another 30 yards. Even with the take away, Port Charlotte was too much for the Red Knights.
Play 3: Barron Collier's Niko Boyce & BJ Williams
Barron Collier's Niko Boyce throws a perfect pass to BJ Williams who goes up, snags the ball, and lands in bounds for the touchdown. It was an impressive play despite the Cougars losing to their rival Naples.
