A shooting took place Sunday evening at Palm Avenue in Fort Myers, sending one person to a hospital.
NBC2 asked neighbors what they saw, but nobody felt comfortable talking on camera. They said a cookout was taking place before shots were fired.
NBC2 is working to find out how the victim is doing and what led up to the shooting.
