A 91-year-old man was found with life-threatening injuries at his home in a San Carlos Park neighborhood on Tuesday night.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a home along Olive Road to conduct a well-being check.
LCSO says the man was found with injuries and taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Deputies were still surrounding the home on Wednesday morning.
NBC2 crews at the scene saw a blocked-off road as deputies lined the street.
