A 20-year-old Cape Coral man was arrested after being accused of molesting a child under the age of 12-years-old.
Cape Coral police say they arrested Elijah De Jesus, 20, around 9 p.m. on Wednesday after receiving reports of sexual molestation in northwest Cape Coral.
Officers say they arrived on the scene and met with the victim. Detectives also responded and reports say they developed probable cause for De Jesus' arrest.
De Jesus was taken to the Lee County Jail and is facing one charge of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim less than 12 years of age.
