The FBI and U.S. Marshal's Office are searching for a suspect after five people, including a Fort Myers couple, were shot along I-75 in Kentucky on Saturday.
NBC2 spoke with Renee Walker and Erick Tabin who live near Fort Myers High School. Walker confirmed that she is out of the hospital, but Tabin is still recovering.
The couple was among three others who were victims of the shooting in Laurel County, Kentucky.
The U.S. Marshal's Office and the FBI are helping aid in the search for 32-year-old Joseph Couch.
Authorities say they found Couch's silver SUV Saturday night, and on Sunday they recovered an AR-15 that Couch allegedly used in the shooting.
According to investigators, Couch bought the gun legally. Investigators say he served at least four years in the National Guard.
The sheriff's office says Couch hit nine cars and five people during the shooting spree.
According to officials, one of the five victims was shot in the face, another in the arm and a woman across the chest.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says all victims are in stable condition.
Kentucky State Police have announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Joseph Couch. He is 5'10", 154 pounds, and is considered armed and dangerous.
