The Hendry County Sheriff's Office has two teens in custody after an alleged Instagram threat toward LaBelle Middle and High School.
Hendry County deputies say they received several reports Sunday afternoon via the Fortify Florida Hotline in regard to the alleged threats.
The reports indicated a threat of a shooting at LaBelle Middle and High School , according to reports.
Hendry County detectives identified the suspects as Seliana Velasquez, 13, and Diego Salavar, 13. Both are students at LaBelle Middle School.
Deputies say one of the suspects told them they thought it was a joke, and the other declined to speak.
One teed did have access to a gun, detectives noted.
Both teens face charges of written threats or electronic threats to kill or do bodily injury and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
