The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a deadly crash into a canal in Lehigh Acres.
A red SUV flipped into a canal off Sunshine Boulevard N and 55th Street W on Monday evening.
Dive teams were on the scene looking in the canal.
FHP is leading the investigation where they say one person was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim's identity has not been shared at this time.
It is unclear how many cars were involved or how the crash occurred at this time.
