The Glades County Sheriff's Office says they found the body of a missing man on Thursday in a heavily overgrown area.
Deputies say the body was located, and the area was treated as a crime scene. Medical examiners and FDLE Crime Scene were called in to assist with investigations.
GCSO says there was no evidence leading them to believe foul play was involved.
Deputies identified the body as a missing person , 51-year-old EricPalazolo.
Palazolo is from Glades County, but according to the sheriff's office, he was last seen in Moore Haven on July 29, and was possibly heading toward Okeechobee County.
WPBF reported
that Palazolo was believed to be endangered because he takes medication for diabetes and recently had open heart surgery.
Deputies say the family has been notified. The investigation is ongoing, and no further information has been released.
