You may have already noticed the electronic messaging signs and cones along the Midpoint Bridge as crews work on repaving the road.
Right now, the roadwork is cleared as you head out the door.
Overnight lanes closures began Monday night and that will be the case for the next weeks so you'll want to plan ahead.
These temporary closures will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Lane closures will be along Veterans Memorial Parkway between Country Club Boulevard in Cape Coral and the Fort Myers side of the Midpoint Bridge.
Lane one through the toll plaza and the off-ramp at Del Prado Blvd will be closed with a detour in place on Tuesday night.
Next week work and closures will shift to the Veterans Memorial Pkwy travel lanes, reducing the number of open lanes during overnight work hours.
